When you submit your order you'll be asked for your existing number along with the account number of your current carrier. After your new account is approved we activate your new phone and schedule the number transfer from your old carrier to your new carrier. It's rare that a number can't be ported, but if this does happen we'll contact you for alternative arrangements. You should receive the new cell phone before the number transfer has been completed so that there is no interruption in service. STEP 2.
