How long will the transfer of my phone
from my old carrier to my new cellular provider take?
A. According to FCC guidelines the number transfer should be completed
within two hours of when it was scheduled. Some carriers still process
some of the number portability requests manually. In that case it may take
up to four hours to complete the number transfer to your new account. We
process a huge number of number portability requests, more than any retailer or
website. Every effort is made to schedule the transfer of your old number
to your new account within 24 hours of you receiving your new phone.

What do I need to do to ensure that the
transfer of my existing number goes smoothly?
A. If the information you submit on your order matches the information
with your previous carriers exactly, the number transfer should go smoothly
without any problems. When submitting your order make sure that your name,
previous account number and phone number on the account match exactly what is
shown on your cellphone bill from your previous cell phone provider. Any
mismatch in name, account number or phone number could delay the order process
and transfer of your old cell phone number to your new wireless plan.

Can I transfer my phone number even if I am still
under contract with my previous provider?
A. If you are currently under contract with a different wireless
provider you are required to fulfill the terms of that contract. If you
transfer your number and cancel service with your old carrier before the

wireless agreement.
