A. Transferring your existing phone number to your new cell phone is easy. Just take these three steps to ensure that everything goes smoothly. STEP 1. When submitting your order for your new cell phone and plan make sure you check the box that says "Yes, switch my old number to my new phone and plan". When you submit your order you'll be asked for your existing number along with the account number of your current carrier.
